An illustration framework that represents the different pillars that power Caravel.

Challenge

I was asked to create a scalable and multi-use visual framework for Caravel. Caravel is an AI-driven customer assistance solution for businesses which is powered by 4 pillars: Retail, Product, Engineering, & Artificial Intelligence.  

Objective

Create a visual framework that expands the scope of the current Caravel identity, while staying true to it’s ambitions.

The Framework

---

The visual framework of Caravel was made of various different pieces that would be used together to represent each different pillar. 



A library of over a dozen simple 3D shapes were created that could be used across all 4 pillars, while the photographs would be exclusively used for the pillar they were chosen for. The 2D shape elements would be the final piece of the puzzle, tying everything back to the Caravel brand.

This level of variety allows the framework to be flexible enough to be able to create unique visuals on a consistent basis.
